Wurun Senior Campus
Wurun Senior Campus is a world-class highly sustainable education facility with capacity for 650 students.
The vertical six-storey school forms part of the former Gasworks redevelopment in Fitzroy North. Folding around a prominent corner site, the building form steps up along its length. This creates a series of landscaped outdoor terraces, with each terrace having direct connection to interior learning environments.
The ground floor includes an entry forecourt, bicycle storage, offices, indoor sports courts, and an amphitheatre with performing spaces. Levels one to five provide a variety of learning spaces and facilities for different departments, as well as a second indoor sports court on level three. A tiered rooftop terrace provides students with outdoor area and a third sports court.
